Have you watched the evening news lately?

These days the top search term for Tide isn’t cleaning, stains or anything like that; it’s “challenge”.

That’s right, the “Tide Pod Challenge”.  What on earth would posess a human to eat a tide pod?

I really don’t know… I guess the pretty colors???

There has even been some speculation that Procter & Gamble, the owner of the Tide brand, started the Tide Pod challenge for publicity, but I can’t fathom why any company would want to show how harmful their flagship product is.

Maybe you see the “progress” Tide has made in so-called making your laundry room safer by making child-proof, double zipper style bags for their pods. That’s right P&G, go ahead and sell your toxic stuff to families with young children, just make it slightly harder for my infant to get to it… and please keep the bright shiny colors that make it appealing to babies, who will put literally anything in their mouths.

But wait, I have an actual good idea – why not use safer detergent in your washing machine?

What a concept… Not only won’t you have to worry about your child putting it in their mouth but, you will also not get all the residual toxins in your “clean” clothes, but that’s for another blog.

Since it’s obvious P&G isn’t going to make Tide Pods safe anytime soon, I urge you to check out the safer solution we have found!
