Did you see the segment on the Today Show today called “Clean Beauty”?

If you are looking for it, the entire segment can be found below.

In my opinion it was a great segment. Since my mission for the past 6 years has been to alert people of the harmful chemicals in their personal care products, I was really excited to see this segment make it onto national television! This segment primarily interviewed the founder of one direct sales company that is trying to create better products than the ones you can find on the store shelve,s while empowering people (mostly women in this case) to build and grow their own business, leading not only to living healthier but also to financial independence. The owner of the company said she wanted to affect a change and be an advocacy and educational platform and create a movement because people need to know what harmful ingredients are in most of their personal care products. She made a great point that she called her products “safer” rather than “safe” because nobody has “all the answers”. I’ll also add that different people are allergic and react differently to different ingredients so what might be safer for me might not be for you.

So, since I represent a different company than was shown here, should I pretend I didn’t see this segment, should I tear it apart and tell you everything she said that I disagree with, should I tell you how much better my company is? No, I don’t think so. You see, we are both on the same team, wanting to raise the alarm on the harmful chemicals you are using each and everyday. Would I rather you use my products than hers? Yes. But would I rather you use hers than the toxic stew you get at the department store? For sure.

With that said, please look into it. Buy her products or buy my products or buy safer products from your friend down the street. I don’t bash other Direct Sales companies, or even use their names, but if you contact me I will tell you why I chose my company and why I think we are the best!
